My namesake non profit
I am the founder of the Saint Nicholas Christmas Foundation aptly named after my Christmas Day birthday. Now in its 8th year SNCF raises funds to buy presents for residents of assisted living facilities without living family members in 5 coastal NC counties covering 5,000 square miles. Last year I hand delivered gifts to over 500 residents. We also buy teddy bears to donate to North Carolina children‘s hospitals and local first responders to have on hand for incidents involving children. In 2020 I appears on NBC’s the Today Show for a 6 minute segment on the Saint Nicholas Christmas Foundation. As a part of my appearance Kohls donated $10,000 and NBC provided me with a birthday cake. it was a birthday to remember and I am so thankful for the support and all of the people I was able to help as a result of the exposure.
